2 OPIs and a Zoya

I'm trying to update every day... again... Hee hee.

So today, I have, from my vault of unposted pictures, 2 OPIs and a Zoya. I THOUGHT I'd posted all my Zoya, but I actually hadn't. Maybe it's because I have too much nail polish. Nah, perish the thought.

This is OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow Suede. It's nice enough, typical OPI Suede (matte with shimmer). Dries very fast, but not so fast you can't get your nail covered first.

This is one of those shades, though, that I really prefer with topcoat. The shiny makes it pop!

And here is an OPI I picked up on impulse because it was on clearance. No Room For The Blues! It's very dupe-y with Zoya's Yummy. I'll do a comparison sometime.

And here is my lone remaining Zoya, Kalista. It's a beautiful shimmery dark red/brown. I am really digging these types of colors lately. I guess it's cause I know fall is on its way. :)

Dark and vampy OPIs

Also in Jill's package last week were three dark/vampy OPI polishes. Yay vampy!

Here are my swatches of each:

This looks very brown/brick red in indirect light or in low light.

In direct sunlight, it is considerably brighter.

I really loved this color! Really! One of my favorite types of nail polish is that super dark "blackened" polish that isn't really black with a little hidden shimmer in it.
This is Midnight in Moscow outdoors (you may need to click on this one to enlarge it in order to see the shimmer).

And this is Midnight in Moscow indoors.

The last of the dark OPIs is Lincoln Park After Dark which, for some reason, I neglected to photograph the bottom of the bottle like I did with the other two.
She sent this to me because I didn't have it and because I do have the Suede version of it. I knew the Suede was nothing like the original polish -- the original is much darker. This is a dark, dark eggplanty purple. I like it a lot. :)
Here it is indoors:

And outdoors:

And just for comparison, here's the suede version of it. The suede is a million times lighter, but I like it too.

OPI Suedes

I've been swatching all day long today! I'll probably swatch all day tomorrow too! Now to post some content...

I only bought two of these, but I'd sort of like to have the whole collection. These are pretty much my favorite OPIs. I'm not a big OPI girl, honestly, but these are really nice. You're supposed to wear them without a topcoat, of course, but they really sparkle and shine with one. I have a thing for shimmery mattes! In the interest of swatching and staying true to the "suede" style, I did not do topcoat for these pictures. I did do basecoat and two coats of polish.
