So, I saw these new Jesse's Girl polishes at Rite Aid, and they were BOGO 50%, so I grabbed two. These polishes don't have names!! DRIVES ME NUTS!
Anyway, I grabbed one that I suspected was yet another Zoya Charla dupe, and another that was Scrangie-esque.
What do you know... we have YET ANOTHER Charla dupe. Really? REALLY?! Isn't this like the fourth iteration of this color in the past year?
Observe.
Bottles:
On the nail.
2 coats of Zoya Charla on index and ring.
2 coats of Jesse's Girl on middle and pinky.
The application on both was exactly the same. They are indistinguishable on the nail.

I can't believe it! How unoriginal can they get? I guess this is probably easier to pick up though and guessing costs less. Just call it Charla the 4th!
ReplyDelete@DDD I know! They don't look exactly alike in the bottle, so I was hoping for something just a little different... but no, it's yet another dupe. Charla was nice the first time around, but this is getting old! And yeah, the Jesse's Girl polish is cheaper, at $2.99.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting really sick of seeing this color. At first I thought it was gorgeous. Now that every company and their respective mothers are making it, I'm getting a little fed up with it. Seriously. Come up with something NEW. Please.
ReplyDeleteYay. It's cheaper...it also came out later, I'm guessing. RAWR. Tsk tsk tsk.
@Lady C. - And Zoya is forever running promotions. I don't think I've EVER paid full price for a Zoya, so $2.99 isn't even that much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteLOL So true. Zoya's always got a lot of good promotions going on and I didn't even really consider buying them until last year. :) Thank God, since some of their colors are AMAZING. I'm waiting for Edyta in the mail right now from their facebook promotion.
